Whether they are providing conferences and large groups with nutritious and satisfying meals; working with families and wedding parties to develop and execute their ideal catering experience; or creating an inviting and hip environment in our three onsite eateries— at Fort Worden we strive to provide a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
Dedicated to locally sourced, organic and artisan products, Fort Worden continues to establish and strengthen our relationship with Pacific Northwest farmers, cheesemakers, brewers, coffee roasters and more!
Taps at the Guardhouse – COMING SOON!
Opening this summer, Taps at the Guardhouse will be Fort Worden’s gathering place, a hearth for guests 21+ to partake in an upscale dining experience and enjoy libations and spirits from Northwest craft brewers, wineries and ciders.

Café at the Commons
Located in the heart of Fort Worden’s campus, the Commons Café is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for breakfast and lunch.
Featuring vaulted ceilings and picture windows, the spacious café is filled with natural light. Table, counter and lounge seating offers a comfortable spot for friends and colleagues to meet and enjoy made-to-order sandwiches, freshly prepared soups and salads, rich quiches and baked goods, coffee and teas, as well as, daily specials.

Cablehouse at the Beach
The newly remodeled Beach Canteen is conveniently located across from the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Canteen offers family-friendly coastal cuisine including Short’s Farm all-beef hamburgers and fries, fish and chips, fish tacos, Elevated Ice Cream, snacks, treat and beverages.
The Cablehouse also serves campers by offering sundries and other essentials for sale.
