Camping

Nestled on 432-acres of public lands, Fort Worden offers 30 forested campsites, 50 beach campsites and four primitive sites. All campsites feature a picnic table, a fire ring and access to heated bathrooms with coin-operated showers and an onsite coin-operated laundry. RV hookups are available at both campgrounds. Forest campsites offer dual utilities. Beach campsites offer full utilities. Primitive campsite are available exclusively to guests arriving by non-motorized vehicles i.e., bicyclists, kayakers, hikers.

Forested and wooded areas are the primary feature of this campground hosting 30 sites with water, electricity, (plus 5 primitive walk-in sites) and a sewer dump station nearby. The campsites are mostly forested, some with privacy. They are fairly level, and quite long—perfect for RVs and trailer campers. This campground offers easy access to miles of hiking and biking trails or the McCurdy Pavilion.

This scenic campground features 50 full-service (water, electric, and sewer) hookup sites tucked between the forested bluff and the beaches of Point Wilson. The sites are level, spacious, and open of most vegetation. Most sites have an amazing view of the waters at the entrance to Puget Sound and are back dropped by Mount Baker and the Cascade Range.
